Sunrise Sermon

As I sit at my computer quietly tapping out these words — eight digits on the home row and a ninth tapping the space bar, I’m sipping on my second and final cup of coffee. Already, this day has been amazing. My alarm went off at 5:00, but I was awake long before then — thinking about my wonderful life and how God has been with me every step of the way. When I reflect on the mountaintop moments, he was there cheering me on. When I recall the valleys (and there were valleys), he was there lifting me out of the mire. When I think about the uphill climb, he certainly was there as well nudging me onward.

O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, even purposes planned of old (and fulfilled) in faithfulness and truth. ~Isaiah 25:1 (AMP)

If you do nothing else today, thank God for all the wonderful things he has done in your life. Thank him for being the same God — yesterday, today, and always — indeed a man of his word. So, what will you thank him for today? Scroll down and join me in the comments so I can praise him along with you.

May blessings abound! <3

  1. A peaceful morning to you Michelle.
God is good and because of his goodness towards me I want to say an extra special thanks to him today for another beautiful day. A day that was not promised but because of his love he has given me another chance to share my inspiration to the world.
I am thanking him also for messengers like you Michelle whom he uses to remind sinners like me about his never ending mercy and love. May God be praise always and forever Michelle…Amen!
