This video and blog post written by Cheyanne really resonated with me. “You don’t have to try…” and “Do you like you?” are two of the things that my co-workers and I preach every day in our middle school. Enjoy the song and Cheyanne’s message!

Principle Michelle loves "the middle" -- it's the place where the rubber meets the road. Kids in middle school are at a pivotal stage in their lives, and they can go left or right. Because this is where God positioned her, she gets to direct and guide middle school students in the way that they should go.
She also enjoys helping families build strong biblical foundations by offering them strategies, resources, and tools to help them to train up their kids and to build the life God intended.

Great post Michelle and Cheyanne. This WordPress community is so profoundly supportive and congenial, what’s not to like?
Hi Roo! 🙂 We really need to support each other. We’re not in competition. It’s more like a mutual admiration society. I’m so happy that I finally have a little time to read these beautiful blogs.
I know what you mean, Michelle. I get my daily workout just by catching up these two weeks! I missed a lot of great reading. We all need our cheering section!
<3 Thanks, Roo! So true
Thank you SO MUCH for reblogging my post! I definitely could have used more songs like this when I was in middle school. And more administrators that actively help young people develop a positive self-image. 🙂
